In Wisconsin, there are really only two seasons - winter... and construction. The normal highway I take when I'm heading out of town is completely closed off right now, so this highway is a few miles south of that. I confess that I haven't ever been on this highway before the trip, so I had no idea that this highway would be down to one lane too. Yes, that is 5 consecutive semis in a row in front of me. That was a great little stretch of a 6.5 hour trip, but at least it wasn't long, and at the end of the road, my grandparents were waiting for me in St. Louis, and the start of my excellent vacation began!
