I know contrary, but I treated today's game like it was Jaime Garcia's first start. He did too - flying his parents up for the game and all. I was nervous as all get out on my 'first' first day of school this year... I can't imagine having your 'first' day of work being in front of 42,000 people and a national tv audience. It was a definite joy to watch him pitch, and the baseball purist that I am was also thrilled with how he ran the bases!
