8 months after school starts, I finally get a school shirt I can actually wear to school. Not for lack of trying - they only sell 'spirit wear' twice a year here, and the first go around they didn't have a polo shirt - only tshirts and sweatshirts/pants. New clothes for Polo Shirt Friday - my favorite made up holiday. I love that some of my 8th graders looked at me today and said, 'Hey, a polo shirt. You haven't celebrated in awhile.' Somewhere, the college math prof that we created this fake holiday to make fun of is shaking his head.
