Day 93 - This Old House

The buildings in downtown St. Joseph, MO (my hometown) are, to say the least, old. There are houses like this one that have been restored to their former glory, mansions like the one my family had dinner in tonight that have been well preserved over the years, and places that haven't seen any love since around 1957. What's weird is that you can find all three of those on the same block in some places.

No wonder downtown is pretty much dead. People can't appreciate and see the beauty sometimes when they have to drive past the broken-down, dilapidated places all around it. Too bad...
