This is one of the bulletin boards in my classroom. Right now the postcards that are on it are all my postcards of places my family, friends and myself have visited. The bulletin board is going to hopefully become a discussion piece for the classroom as we work on writing research papers in the next month or two. Here's where all of you come in. It doesn't matter who you are or where you live, if you are in the same area as a national or state monument or park, pick up a postcard and mail it to my students, along with a short note telling them why they should visit that particular historic place. Many of my students haven't seen many places outside the state of Wisconsin, so it really doesn't matter where you're from, if you'd be willing to show these students a scene they haven't seen before, they would greatly appreciate it!
