One of my 8th grade girls was in a tizzy at the end of lunch. I gave her my patented raised eyebrow 'What on earth?' face, and she held out this snap pea and said, 'LOOK!'
I saw. I smiled and tried not to laugh. Her friend was kind enough to knock the pea out of her hands and on to the floor, but she picked it up (eww) and said she didn't want to throw it away. I snapped this picture and said I'd email it to her so she'd toss it... because... I didn't want a dirty snap pea floating around my classroom all afternoon. That's weird.
That is AWESOME!
