Holy smokes, there's actually stuff growing in this thing. I don't know how - I get sun in my apartment for maybe 2 hours a day, and instead of watering it a little bit at a time I drown the silly thing and then ignore it for 3 days. I'm now wondering how it will stay alive while I'm in DC and not home to water it.
I sound like an insensitive and incapable jerk, I know. I've never been responsible for a living thing before. If it was a baby or another human I'd know what to do, but without ever having any plants or pets to take care of before this, I'm afraid I'm going to forget about it and let it die because I didn't care.
