My 8th graders have been building rockets in science class, and today was the day they shot them off. I was in the computer lab with the 7th graders while this shot was taken (I handed the camera to the science teacher, and I hear that my photography loving student took the pictures). Thankfully I got to see the last few go off this afternoon, but I have to say the shock and awe (and fear perhaps) on the kids' faces made me giggle when I was looking through my camera this afternoon. I wish they'd caught one with the rocket still in the picture, but I like that the water trail was still very visible.
